50 years of Priesthood

 - I’m glad I said YES!
 
As a grade school student wrote in their card to me: “50 years is a long time, so you should celebrate”, so we did. Thank You for a weekend of memories that I will cherish for a long time. You gifted me with your    presence at the Masses on June 8/9, your prayers, affirmations, cards, notes, gifts, hugs,  your generosity to one of the three places I invited you to donate to.
 
I am grateful to everyone who helped in any way with the weekend celebration, especially the Masses and receptions.
 
50 years ago I said “ I am ready and willing” to be a priest. Today I say the same thing, - I love being a Priest. I love being your Pastor. God has blest me in these 50 years, you have blest me in my years of being your Pastor.      
 
As our Mission Statement says, let us continue,
TO LOVE, TO SERVE, TO BE HOPE.
