“My kids look forward to coming to on-site classes, and we like them to have friends at church. The lessons are active and relevant while teaching Faith."
"Gospel Weeklies are easy to do at home. The kids love reading their own lesson and then we talk about it. The fun to do, hands-on activities keep them interested and we had some great conversations about life and faith."

We offer several ways for elementary aged children to grow their faith with their families and with their friends: God's Word for Kids at Sunday Mass, at-home Faith Formation and a wonderful Vacation Bible School (VBS).
JUNE - SEPTEMBER - 9:00 am Mass ONLY
OCTOBER - APRIL AT BOTH Sunday Masses
GOD'S WORD FOR KIDS (previously know as Children's Liturgy of the Word)
Ages 6 - 10 years
provides the same Sunday readings heard at Mass by the adult assembly and gives the child an opportunity to learn about their faith with age-appropriate faith-sharing questions and prayers. After prayers, readings, and sharing, the children have a discussion based on provided questions. God's Word for Kids is offered during both Sunday morning liturgies October through April. The children are invited up to the front of the church after the opening prayer and depart as a group with volunteer adult and teen leaders. They return before the celebration of Eucharist.
OPTION 1: ON-SITE CLASSES AND FAMILY EVENTS
When parents register their K-Elementary children for our Faith Formation program, children attend on-site classes and participate in familly events and blessings in addition to service projects.
OPTION 2: AT HOME STUDY AND FAMILY EVENTS
The Gospel weekly lessons are a great way to make a simple connection to Mass and are written for your child's understanding. If you have more than one child, the lesson can be done together at the same time! Each grade level working with the same theme, with their own age appropriate lesson. Families are also encouraged to attend Mass blessings, family events, and service projects.
Check out our Busy Bags! Busy Bags include some fun stuff to keep kids engaged, including some faith puzzles and books. Grab a Busy Bag on your way to your pew before Mass, encourage your children to take and use what they like and return unused pages along with the bag to the peg after Mass.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun-filled and energetic week every summer for children entering 1st through 5th grade. Every year offers a different theme with new activities, crafts, experiments and, of course, Bible stories. Stay tuned for more information on the dates and theme for this year and to register.
Look for details about VBS in late spring.
