Purpose of Position:
Keep our STB landscaping looking attractive

Responsibilities:
Weed flower beds to keep them looking attractive.Special RequirementsAbility to stoop and pull, some familiarity with identifying plants and their care

Amount of Time Required:
Periodically from about May to September.

Length of Commitment:
One summer, renewable

Purpose of Position:
Coordinate the annual Christmas party.

The Adult Christmas Party brings parishioners together as a community, helping them feel more connected and likely to show love, service and hope to others.

Responsibilities:
Set up and decorate for the party. Chair will email planners times to decorate for the party. Give input for possible entertainment.

Ability to follow directions and give opinions.

Amount of Time Required:
Approximately 2 hours for set up and 1/2 hour for clean up.

Purpose of Position:
Help coordinate the annual Cana Dinner

Meet 1-2 times January to February to plan. May suggest new entertainment for the event.

Purpose of Position:
Coordinate the annual STB Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt event brings children together as a community, helping them feel more connected and likely to show love, service and hope to others.

Responsibilities:
Organize workers to fill plastic eggs with candy at St. John Neumann the week before the event. Organize workers to hide eggs before the event. Communicate rules to children. Ensure candy is removed and plastic eggs are collected after event.

Purpose of Position:
Coordinate volunteers for specific areas of the Fall Festival.

Responsibilities:
Meet 3-4 times during the year with Fall Festival committee to organize the next Fall Festival. Send and receive emails to committee. Festival Lead areas include Food, Silent Auction, Indoor/Outdoor setup plans, Permits, Beer/Wine/Pop Trailer, Kids Games/FSCS Liaison, Bingo, Cake Walk, Wine Toss, Food Trucks, Ticket sales, Flyer, Communication, Volunteers, Entertainment.

Purpose of Position:
The purpose of the Council Chair is to lead meetings in which the Fun, Faith and FellowshipCouncil plan activities that encourage St Thomas Becket parishioners to participate in fellowshipministries of the church.

By building a culture of fellowship we help St Thomas Becket parishioners to feel a bond with their parish faith community, which encourages them to carry out our mission of loving, serving, and being hope to others.

Responsibilities:

• Chair monthly meetings on the first Thursday evening of each month, striving to keep the council on track by following the agenda provided by the council secretary.
• Encourage council members to contribute their ideas, gifts and passions in planning activities.
• Moderate discussions to include input from everyone, create plans to set goals, determine priorities, and evaluate results.
• Facilitate completion of action steps as required to meet goals.

Purpose of Position:
Participate in Knights of Columbus parish serviceevents or fund raising events.

Responsibilities:
Volunteer to help at events at St. Thomas Becket, St. John Neumann or St. Peters (tri -parish KOC) as your schedule allows. Attend meetings on the second Monday of each month at Faithful Shepherd School as your schedule allows.

Work with others in your crew to keep STB’s lawn areas looking good.

3 people on your crew run either the zero turn mower, hand mower, weed whip or blower.

Able to operate lawn equipment or learn how. Operator of the zero turn mower must be at least 18 years of age.

2- 3 hours each month, on Thursdays weather permitting

Responsibilities:
Obtain new parishioner contact information from Becky in the office monthly and distribute to New Parishioner Welcome volunteers. Obtain feedback from New Parishioner Welcome volunteers and provide guidance. Coordinate with Fun and Fellowship Council for Welcome Breakfast dates; send evites to new parishioners since the last breakfast.
