Our middle school faith formation program welcomes 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Our program is currently based on The Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers with modifications to incorporate strong social justice learning.
Our middle schoolers meet two Wednesday evenings each month from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. For our 2020-2021 program, all meetings will take place online via Zoom until the public health situation improves to allow large in-person meetings.
As for all St. Thomas Becket parishioners, social justice and outreach learning and activities represent an integral part of our program. For 2020-2021, much of this social justice learning may be completed in their Zoom class. Optional onsite and community based events are also offered. -
a typical wednesday nightTeens begin each evening as a large group to grow spiritually, in their individual faith and socially within their peer community. The large group then breaks into smaller groups with 2 leaders guiding games, prayer and the study of our Catholic faith.
