“The Gospel Weekly lessons are great and simple to do! It was great, the kids loved reading their own lesson and then we’d come back together and talk about it. The fun to do, hands on activities kept them interested and we had some really great conversations about life and faith.”
Faithful Shepherd Catholic School builds academic excellence for students in grades Pre-K – 8, through a solid foundation in academics, community and faith. Faithful Shepherd welcomes all learners, fostering growth and developing the leaders of tomorrow.
"Allow the children to come to me,’ Jesus said. ‘Don’t forbid them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people like these children."
Matthew 19:14
Sharing God's Story at Sunday Mass and at-home Faith Formation provides Faith growth that is engaging and fun for preschoolers, friends, and family.
No registration necessary.
Sharing God's Story (ages 4 and 5 years) Is age-appropriate faith-sharing activity offered during both Sunday morning liturgies October through April. The children sing, pray, hear a Bible story, talk about the story, and do a craft project. The children are invited up to the front of the Church after the opening prayer and depart as a group with volunteer adult and teen leaders. They return before the celebration of Eucharist.
When parents register their Preschoolers (ages 3-4) for our Faith Formation program, families gain access to colorful, engaging and age appropriate weekly lessons that are not only good Catholic faith content, but are also based on the Scripture readings we hear each Sunday at Mass.

The Gospel Weekly lessons are a great way to make a simple connection to Mass and are written for your preschooler's understanding. If you have more than one child, the lesson can be done together at the same time! Each grade level working with the same theme, with their own age appropriate lesson.
Gospel Weekly lessons will begin during the first week of October. We hope to meet and share a monthly family session that will include service projects, seasonal celebrations (like Advent and Lent), with special blessings and or learning stations.
Check out our Busy Bags! Busy Bags are designed to keep children engaged and learning about faith during Mass. Each bag includes a variety of books, puzzles, crayons and coloring pages. Grab a Busy Bag on your way to your pew before Mass, encourage your children to take and use what they like and return unused pages along with the bag to the peg after Mass.
Busy Bags may be found on pegs along both rear walls in the sanctuary.
